Day 23 – ReFeathering in a Safe Place

What safer place is there to raise our children
than near the altar of the Lord?

And even when they fly off, the nest is still right there…
…safely hidden in His care.

Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow builds her nest
and raises her young
at a place near your altar,
O Lord of Heaven’s Armies,
My King and my God!
What joy for those who can live in your house,
always singing your praises.
~Psalm 84: 3-4, NLT~

P.S. Don’t you love unexpected hugs? We had a couple of them today. Somebody tucked a “Don’t Worry About Tomorrow… God is Already There!” note under our windshield wiper this morning! And then, just a few minutes later, a car passed us on the highway, and their license plate number was “OXOXOXO”! I wonder if they know how many hugs and kisses they pass on as they drive down the road!
